Leonardo Williams
Leonardo Williams, a proud graduate of Halifax County Schools, is now leading one of North Carolina’s largest cities as the Mayor of Durham. A native of Halifax County, Williams has carried the values and resilience shaped during his time in HCS into every step of his journey—from educator and small business owner to civic leader.
Jarrette Pittman
Jarrette Pittman, a proud graduate of Halifax County Schools, has built a career in law rooted in service and justice. A Scotland Neck native, Pittman went on to earn his law degree and serve as an Assistant District Attorney before opening his own practice—continuing to uplift his community with the values first shaped in HCS.
Delaney Rudd
Delaney Rudd, a proud graduate of Halifax County Schools, rose from Eastman High School to a professional basketball career in the NBA and overseas. Known for his time with the Utah Jazz and Portland Trail Blazers, Rudd now gives back as a coach and mentor, carrying forward the determination and discipline shaped during his years in HCS.
