Mrs. Myosha Cummings-Grey

My name is Myosha Cummings-Grey.  I have been a teacher for the past 14 years, where   I have taught 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade.  Currently, I am teaching 4th grade.  A 2006 graduate of the Sam Sharpe Teachers' College.  In 2011, I graduated from the prestigious Northern Caribbean University in Jamaica.  In 2021, I achieved my Master of Science Degree in Primary Education with a focus on Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment.

I believe that "Education is the most powerful weapon we can use to change the world." Education in the broadest sense is not just a course of study. It has to do with the whole being; It is the total development of the physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional being.  It prepares students for the joy of service (Education, 225).  With this in mind, I will take the opportunity to know your child/children's background, strengths, and weaknesses to meet their individual needs. As your child's teacher, I endeavor to create an educational partnership that fosters courage, determination, accountability, and passion for knowledge. As we embark on unprecedented territories, this year will be no less than the others.  The curriculum will be filled with a rich and rigorous curriculum. It is my commitment to provide your child with a nurturing yet challenging educational curriculum and culture that will ensure academic success in the 21st century.
