Hi,

My name is Rosemarie Powell-Williams. I am your 2nd grade teacher for 2022-2023 school year. I have a diploma in Literacy Studies which was awarded at Bethlehem Moravian Teachers College and a Bachelor's in Primary Education awarded at Catholic College of Mandeville both from the country of Jamaica. I also acquired my Masters of Science in Education from Walden University here in the United States. I enjoy teaching and I am very happy to assist your scholar to become the best version of him or her self. In my classroom I teach standards, integrate Jamaican culture  and various art forms to maximize the scholar's potential.

As an educator I take pride in preparing authentic and technology-integrated lessons so that your scholar develops the necessary skills for the 21st century. Scholars are consistently motivated to stretch their imaginations and creatively express themselves to demonstrate learning. I strive to ensure your scholar displays excellence holistically through academics, positive attitudes and social and emotional well-being. Please know that I am here to do whatever I can to assist your scholar in striving  for five.
