Hello, my name is Dwayne Johnson, and I am currently the 4th-grade Mathematics and Science teacher here at Inborden Elementary STEAM Academy. I am a native of Jamaica, where I taught 6th-grade general subjects. I am a proud graduate of the International University of the Caribbean, where I pursued my Diploma in  Ministerial Studies, BA Theology, and MEd Administration and Leadership. I am also a graduate of the Catholic College of Mandeville with a Diploma in Education. 

My philosophy of education is that all students can learn, providing that the environment is created for them to do so. Children learn at a different rate; therefore, various learning opportunities must be given to students for them to reach their individual goals. 

Currently, we are experiencing the pandemic of the Coronavirus, which no doubt affects the contact time between teachers and students. However, I can assure you that I am doing my best to contact my scholars in this time of uncertainty as a teacher. Please do not hesitate to make contact with me via email or call. 

Scholars, it is my pleasure to have you back in the building after a year. We have been meeting online, but having you in the building brings more joy and excitement. We look forward to the short time we will have together. We will make the best use of the time.
