Hello! My name is Doreen Tubbs.  I have the privilege of serving as your School Counselor.  I joined the Halifax County family in 1998 as the School Counselor at Hollister Elementary.  After 13 years at that wonderful school, I moved to Everetts Elementary, serving as their School Counselor.

I joined the mighty Vikings of Northwest in January 2015.  

 As your School Counselor, I look forward to working with you in the areas of academic, social-emotional and career development.

We will work on academic planning, goal setting and exploring career options.

 I am excited about getting to know each of you and assising you in making your journey through high school positve, productive and fulfilling.
