We are off to a great year!
Welcome to Mrs. Horton and Mrs. Mills’ Pre-Kindergarten classroom.
We are so excited about this upcoming school year! It will be a year filled with fun, learning, and lots of adventures. We are thrilled to work with you and your child. Stay connected as we "anchor down” and focus on what's “essential” to impact our year together!
I am Mrs. Angela Horton, and I am the lead pre-k teacher. Teaching is an absolute passion for me. I am a graduate of Shaw University with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education K-6 and a Birth through Kindergarten Early Childhood certification. My years of teaching have been in Halifax County Schools since 1998 --all of which have been in pre-kindergarten education. My vision as a pre-k educator is to make a positive difference in the preschool child’s life. I have two children; a recent graduate from Winston-Salem State University with a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Pre-Health, and a Junior at Wilson Early College Academy.
--I believe that all children can learn, just in different stages.
