Greetings,

My name is Angela Hilliard Battle.  I am a lifelong resident of Halifax County and graduated from the "history-making" last class of Eastman High School! Go Kodiaks!

My matriculation includes North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance; East Carolina University with a Master of Arts in Education and Gardner-Webb University with a School Administrator: Principal certification.  

My work experience includes nine years in the banking industry as an accountant and the past twenty-nine years in education at Halifax County Schools where I have taught grades 1-6.  In 2010, I was employed as an Instructional Coach at Inborden Elementary School (now STEAM Academy).  For the 2019-2020 school year, I was employed as Inborden's Multi-Classroom Leader II - Third Grade.  In 2021, I was employed as Principal of Scotland Neck Elementary Leadership Academy (SNELA).
