• Dear First Grade Families and Scholars,

As we come to the end of a wonderful school year, I want to take a moment to thank you all for your hard work, enthusiasm, and support throughout this amazing journey in first grade.

To our brilliant scholars—I am so proud of each and every one of you! You have grown in so many ways: learning to read more fluently, writing with creativity and confidence, solving math problems with determination, and becoming kind, thoughtful classmates. You’ve worked hard, asked questions, and celebrated every success—big and small. You truly made this year special!

To our supportive parents and families—thank you for being such strong partners in learning. Your encouragement at home made a big difference, and your involvement helped make this year so successful.

As we head into summer, I hope you all enjoy some well-deserved rest, fun adventures, and special time with family and friends. Keep reading, exploring, and asking questions—you never stop learning, even when school is out!

Wishing you a safe, joyful, and relaxing summer. I can’t wait to see all the amazing things you’ll do next!

    With warmest regards

    Katie Jenkins-Mills
