Parents and scholars, I am so excited to welcome you to an exciting new 2024-2025 school year. My name is Katie Jenkins-Mills. I have been teaching for thirteen years, in grades Kindergarten through third. I graduated from Edgecombe Community College with an Associate's degree in College Transfer. Receiving a full scholarship, I continued my studies at North Carolina Wesleyan College, where I earned my Bachelor's of Science Degree in Elementary Education.

As your scholar's teacher, I will do my best each day to help your scholar be successful in his/her academics, but also in everyday life skills. All scholars should be spending time at home reading each night and practicing on their online programs to close any learning gaps they may have at this time.
