I am an educator for a number of years who hails from Guyana, the only English-speaking country in South America. Over the years, I have had the privilege of teaching across various levels—from elementary and middle school to high school and adult continuing education. My teaching journey has taken me to several Caribbean countries before venturing into the United States. I earned my education and degrees in my native Guyana(Anna Regina Multilateral School, Cyril Potter College of Education ,University of Guyana)and take pride in being a multicultural and multi-ethnic individual. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy watching Dhar Mann videos, taking road trips, and of course shopping. Additionally, I am the proud mother of three wonderful children.

This is my second year in Halifax County, and I’m incredibly proud to be part of the Trojan family as an English Teacher. My motto is: "To contribute significantly to the holistic development of each student entrusted to my care." To the Trojan family, I say, "Teamwork makes the dream work," so let’s “Turn it up, all the way up!"
