My name is Christian Nketiah from Ghana, West Africa.  I received my Bachelor's Degree in Education from the University of Education Winneba, Ghana.  I have been a teacher of maths and science for 8 years. 2 years before my bachelor's degree and 8 years after my bachelor's degree. Throughout this period, I taught students from elementary to high school.  

Currently, I am a biology teacher at Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy.  In my  Biology class, we dive into the intricate web of living organisms, exploring their structures, functions, and the fascinating mechanisms that govern life itself. As your guide on this scientific adventure, I am thrilled to embark on this journey with you.

I have a true passion for working with our youngest learners!!  Helping each child progress in all areas of their development, academic, social, emotional and mental, a challenge that I am honored to accept daily.  I strive to create a community of learners that nurtures this growth in a positive, fun environment. 

I enjoy reading, gaming, music, relaxing at the beach, and spending time with friends and family.

I am so excited to be part of the Halifax County Schools family and I look forward to an exciting  and successful 2024/2025 school year.
